Visible Leak Detecting Double Wall Tanks
For installations that run anti-freezers or other chemical products through the heat exchangers, a double wall coil tank is ideal. Advanced Metalpres Inc. manufactures an array of visible leak detecting, quality double wall tanks for customers in Richmond and across British Columbia, Canada. All models of double wall tanks come with 2.5” thick polyurethane foam insulation that gives the product a higher R-value of 16.5, thus ensuring greater temperature protection.

Advanced DW Leak Detection
Double wall tanks from Advanced Metalpres Inc. are designed to prevent any penetration to the exchanger surface. The double-wall construction takes care of any possible leak from the inner wall (containing toxic fluid such as glycol) from mixing with the potable water supply section. This is done so by having the fluid move along a leak-path between the walls of the heat exchanger. Through this method, any leak will be visible on the boiler room on the tank.
Do You Need Double Wall Tanks or Dual Coil Tanks?
When your potable water supply is connected to any closed system, it is recommended that you go for double-wall tankers. For continuous and sufficient supply of hot water, they should be made sure to run in higher boiler temperature. Otherwise, for larger volumes of hot water and for running lower temperatures, we suggest the double coil version of heating tanks.

For heating systems that aren’t isolated, a double wall heat exchanger is suitable.
